Snösätra Grafitti Wall of Fame, Bandhagen

Address: Snösätragränd 1

This is the coolest place in Stockholm and off the beaten tourist path. The graffitis are a mix of styles and are re-done every year. The legendary Percy basically lives here and has a cafe and a techno club. He claims this place has the world’s largest graffiti exhibition.

How to get there: Take the green line metro to T-Rågsved and follow the sign ‘Rågsved naturreservat’. It’s a ten minute walk from the metro.

Inferno Online, Odenplan

Address: Odengatan 60

The world’s largest gaming center and the place to meet other nerds in Stockholm. You can buy passes from one hour up to 30 hours, as well as a ‘nightgibb’ pass. They sell snacks and drinks so you don’t have to leave your seat.

Syntax Error, Södermalm

Address: H62, Hornsgatan 62

This is the club for nerds. Once a month, Saturdays, this is a place where you can challenge your friends in games like Streetfighter, shoot at ducks in Duck Hunt, dress up in your favorite Cosplay creation, drink beer, dance and much more. Like them on facebook to see upcoming club nights

The National Museum of Science and Technology and Nörd Café, Djurgården

How to get there: Take bus 69 to Museiparken from T-Centralen

The museum hosts lots of exhibition and is a very interactive museum, perfect to visit on a rainy day. The location is perfect, on Royal Djurgården and only 15 minutes by bus from the city centre.

The museum has a model railway that was built in the early 1950s. Daily demonstrations of the trains driving through a realistic landscape.

This is the place to learn about the history of technology, and the Swedish famous inventor Alfred Nobel who invented the dynamite and founded the Nobel prize.

Every other Wednesday night the Nörd Cafe hosts special nights with lectures and themes. You can combine these events with the free entrance to the museum from 17 o’clock on Wednesday’s.

Science Fiction Book Store, Gamla stan

Do you love sci-fi, fantasy, urban fantasy, horror, and other fun genres? This book store is packed with books, magazines, games and much more. Don’t hesitate to ask the staff for help should you not find what you’re looking for.

Stockholm Public Library, Rådmansgatan

Address: Sveavägen 73

One of the most beautiful buildings in Stockholm. The atmosphere inside the library is magical. I get lost in time whenever I go and always spend more time than I intended. You can find books in English and other languages.

Vattumannen, Kungsholmen

Address: Fleminggatan 35

Vattumannen is a book store and a spiritual meeting place for likeminded people. They offer astrology- and tarot readings, healing, spiritual guiding, as well as workshops and lectures. You can also buy incense, accessories and holistic products here.

Daisy Dapper, Södermalm

Address: Katarina Bangata 33

A beautiful store inspired by rockabilly, pin-up, Las Vegas and back. All clothes are virgin in 50th century style. Stylish jewelry, handbags, shoes and accessories.

Biograf Zita

Address: Birger Jarlsgatan 37

Zita is the oldest running cinema in Stockholm city, and it’s one of the most important art house cinemas in Stockholm. The cinema screens a wide range of films from all over the world, for all ages, such as documentaries, children films, short films and feature films that normally wouldn’t be screened.
